The Nebraska women lost to Kansas State 4-3 in the first round of the Big 12 Championships in College Station, Texas.

The Huskers made an early exit from the tournament for the first time in three years. Nebraska, which ends the season 16-7, fell behind early after losing the doubles point.

Nebraska will wait to see if it will receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
