OMAHA — Cass County Sheriff’s deputies say they’ve nabbed the culprits responsible for vandalizing Louisville school property: Two boys younger than 12.

Deputies arrested the two boys, ages 9 and 11, earlier this week.

The sheriff’s office says it received a call over the weekend about a school bus being vandalized. When a deputy arrived, he says he found the two boys at the scene of the crime.

The deputy says the bus, a tractor, lawnmower and other lawn equipment were all damaged.

Both boys were arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief and trespassing. They have been released to their parents.

Louisville is about 20 miles south of Omaha.
